"I coordinated with the owners and team to figure out weekend staffing, and Davide and I split up employees to pick them up and drive them home so they wouldn’t worry about transportation; we had full staffing through the weekend because many people could walk. We closed early on Tuesday around 3 p.m. so everyone could get home safely, but stayed open other days—DJ Motaz played Saturday through Monday—and it was busy with regulars who knew we’d likely be open and wanted a place to go, so people enjoyed themselves despite the weather." - Brooke Jackson-Glidden
