"A new coffee shop born from a vocational-training program run by the Garden Foundation and founded by Taylor Gardner Chaney (inspired by her younger sister who was born with Down syndrome), the operation aims to promote inclusivity by providing job opportunities for adults with disabilities. After launching through farmers’ market pop-ups, this is its first brick-and-mortar in the former Golden Fog space at the ShareDowntown apartment complex. The 1,400-square-foot spot is decorated with bright colors and disco balls and features accessible low-top seating for wheelchair users. The playful menu pairs traditional coffee beverages with creative items like peanut butter matcha, gummy bear lemonade, and pressed juices, plus snacks and light bites sourced from local businesses. It will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., with a grand-opening celebration scheduled for Saturday, September 24 at 10 a.m." - Janna Karel
