"I think this is the shop with the best beans in town—a rich, dark roast with cinnamon and pecan notes aimed squarely at dark-roast lovers. If you go before noon you can enjoy a coffee paired with vinyl—staff pick records from an esoteric stack and play them all the way through—and you can even buy a vinyl-and-coffee care package; the music aesthetic is so strong they have their own Spotify account. The menu includes all the expected coffees with house-made syrups, a limited selection of pastries and breakfast bites, and in the afternoons and evenings it becomes a Public House serving beer, wine, and coffee. The interior feels like a bygone era, reminiscent of a 19th-century public school with thin wood tables and chairs, cozy booths, and countertop seating; there are two patios (one in full sun, another shaded under a tree and coverings), and well-behaved dogs are welcome in the outdoor spaces." - Courtney E.
