"A long-awaited casual-dining restaurant at Centennial Hills’ Skye Canyon Marketplace delivers a family-friendly menu of classic breakfast, lunch and dinner favorites and 22 namesake omelets. Omelette Cafe, overseen by husband-and-wife team Annamaria and Ignazio “Iggy” Sessa as a sequel to Summerlin’s 12-year-old Omelet House, occupies a built-from-scratch corner space (pad F) next to Club Pilates and a drive-thru Cafe Rio. I can order takeout or curbside via 702-396-0605, dine on the outdoor patio, or—by reservation—be seated inside the open-plan dining room; reservations are required for indoor seating. The menu features weekly specials such as chicken and waffles, loco moco, and steak and eggs, daily specials with Friday fish and chips and Wednesday meatloaf, $10.99 skillets, buttermilk pancakes, French toast, lobster eggs Benedict, and omelet creations filled with items like Polish or Mexican sausage, meatballs, homemade chili, bacon, and the Green Goblin (guacamole, tomato, cheddar). Desserts specialize in cinnamon apple, cannoli, red velvet, and bananas Foster cakes, and the cafe is open Monday–Friday 6 a.m.–8 p.m. and weekends until 3 p.m." - Bradley Martin
