"I've known Al's Donuts as a long-running fixture serving UNLV and the Strip since April 1973; their East Harmon location has shuttered, leaving fans to head to the Centennial location for their twists on 'kronuts,' 'Krossants,' apple fritters and cinnamon rolls. I saw their work around town—Al's provided doughnuts to Cafe Presse at the Venetian and the Silver Sevens Casino & Hotel and was the doughnut supplier for the El Cortez coffee shop—and their menu also included bagels, sandwiches, coffees and teas.
