"This long-standing Minnesota bakery has changed through many different hands in the last few years, joining Jester Concepts empire in November 2024, but has continued to sell popular pastries and desserts since 2004. Constantly rotating scone, Danish, and cookie flavors keep diners coming back, but there are also reliable favorites like the almond Danish, bittersweet chocolate cookies, and a nutty baklava tart. Executive pastry chef Shawn McKenzie garnered a James Beard nomination in 2023 for her zany pastries at now-closed Café Cerés and you can see her influence at Rustica, with plenty of pistachio-laden pastries and cookies appearing on the rotating menu.
