"A tableware maker has revived its coveted Spice Village collection after being out of production for more than two decades. The 24-piece porcelain set of miniature house–shaped spice jars—originally introduced in 1989 and discontinued in 1993—is available for pre-order as a second edition, priced at $285 for the full set and $15 per individual house (matching the original 1989 price); sets will ship in February and sets of six will also be offered. The collection began as a collectibles program in the late 1980s (with new pieces released every other month) and originally included condiment and tea jars, a napkin holder and trivets; the relaunch is being driven in part by renewed interest from social media trends and cottagecore/kitschy decor enthusiasm." - Bettina Makalintal
