"Operating under a soaring aluminum carport out of a red canopied taco cart fueled by a flaming barbecue grill is one of the best taquerias in town. Beyond its excellent tacos, there are tostadas, vampiros, quesadillas, mulitas, tortas, burritos, and costras (fried cheese envelopes) that hold mesquite grilled beef shoulder roast or spicy adobada sliced from a vertical spit. The star of the show is the quesadilla de asada, a large handmade corn tortilla filled with melted cheese and a generous portion of carne asada that’s big enough to share." - Bill Esparza
