"Orchid Thai, located in Lower Woodward, was a casual eatery known for its pad thai and had been a staple for downtown office workers on lunch break. The restaurant closed following an 18-year run, with the last day of service on Tuesday, February 28. Owner Ally Lee expressed mixed emotions about the closure, mentioning her anticipation for a vacation and exploring new opportunities, while also missing the routine of seeing longtime customers and supporting her staff.
