"North 5th Brewing Co. has been proposed by the Payan family, owners of the building at 60 Mayflower Ave. they wish to convert into the new facility, located five miles north of downtown. Current plans call for a 10-barrel brewing system, primed to produce 1,000 barrels a year, a 1,100-square foot brew pub with room enough for 85 guests and a small store that will also sell branded goods and apparel. The brewery will produce during the work week and the tasting room will debut after it closes, estimated to be serving from 4 to 11 p.m. and 11 a.m. to midnight on the weekend. Frequent customers will able to fill up a “growler” to go, or “crowlers,” cans filled and sealed on site." - Bradley Martin
