"A Chicago thin-crust (tavern-style) pop-up that operates as a charity-driven alley event, donating all proceeds to a chosen cause rather than selling pizza for profit. Led by local pizza chef John Carruthers, the project launched a Kickstarter for a new cookbook, Super Pizza World, a follow-up to 2021’s Pizza For Everyone; the book — inspired by classic video games — promises recipes, art, and writing celebrating pizza and will be 50% larger.
