"I view this new modern Italian-American concept from brothers Bryan and Michael Voltaggio as a personal, family-focused restaurant: the menu is meant to reflect what they cook for their families and serve as an homage to their Italian roots and love of mountain sports. Located in The Village and opening around late January 2023, the spot is designed to welcome guests still in their boots for a hearty meal and après drinks, with the slopes essentially letting out at Vulcania's front door. Expect reimagined Italian-American staples — pizzas, pasta, salads — plus their Rigatoni Arrabbiata with brown butter sauce and basil and kid-friendly VoltaggiOs, an upscale SpaghettiOs featuring tiny handmade noodles and fresh meatballs that will be poured tableside out of a can with an arrabbiata sauce emulsified with butter to recreate that canned effect. The brothers plan to spend most of their off-kitchen time on the slopes, reinforcing the restaurant’s strong mountain connection." - Stacey Leasca
