"I noticed the Korean grocery-store chain E-Mart has started selling the “haru hana banana” — the “one-a-day banana” — a pack of five bananas arranged by ripeness so you can eat one each day: the banana on the far left is ready to eat the day of purchase and the one on the far right will be good in a few days.
