"Los Feliz has its share of ancient classics (The Dresden, Tiki Ti, Ye Rustic Inn, etc.), so it should come as no surprise there’s a red sauce joint in the mix, too. Palermo doesn’t have the fun crowd or above-average food of its neighbors, but the hefty feta-topped Pizzarosa delivers what’s needed after a night out (any thicker and it would qualify as Chicago deep dish). The waitstaff will talk to you like your favorite grade school teacher and painted Sicialian seascapes cover the walls as far as the eye can see. Menu relics include chicken diane (we had to google what was in that, too) and a lentil soup that your server will tell you they’ve been eating for lunch every day for the last decade." - Brant Cox
