"You can just ignore the words “coffee shop” in the name Yely’s Coffee Shop. We don’t even know whether they actually serve coffee - and it doesn’t matter - because the actual reason this Jamaica Plain counter-service spot exists is to provide some outstanding Dominican food. It’s the type of place where you point at a bunch of food under glass and walk out with five pounds of rice, beans, chicken, and some of the best, most tender ribs around, all for only about $10. Regardless of what it calls itself, it’s one of our favorite places in JP." - Dan Secatore
