"Honest Crust was the pioneer of Manchester’s pizza revolution, and it’s no exaggeration to say that the enormous success of Altrincham Market (and later Mackie Mayor in Manchester city centre) can be put down to these sourdough experts. Operating within these bustling food halls, where communal tables hum with large groups feasting on everything from bao and tacos to steak frites, Honest Crust stands out for its perfectly blistered crusts, floppy-but-not-too-soggy base, and high-quality toppings. Puritanism isn’t a bad approach here, with two of the best options being their marinara or Atomica! (where ‘nduja and mozzarella join tomato).
