"It’d be easy to cut a few corners, running a beach town deli that would draw in summertime crowds no matter what. Thankfully for every hungry TKTK resident, Giovanni’s would never. The family-run deli makes a truly outstanding hoagie, one that would be among the best—maybe even in Philly. The Diablo, with hot capocollo, is a favorite, and vegetarian or not, you should try the Jersey Basil with ruby red local tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. (If you’re not, though, definitely add prosciutto.)
