"The hissing of the La Marzocco, swiss cheese plants dotted around, and fragrant almond croissant deliveries are what mornings at Nepa are filled with. Bring that friend who sighs whenever they see a Costa and calls a latte a pint. Nepa is the real deal. Flat whites are six ounces exactly, syrups are shunned, and the bakes on the counter are far from an afterthought. Sourdough cinnamon rolls and thick cuts of banana bread are lapped up by the early afternoon. We’re particularly into the spiced apple and cinnamon loaf that has slices of moist, slightly firm apples throughout. Bring a laptop and type away during the week, or pop in at the weekend and perch on the stools by the big window. It’s perfectly positioned on St Clement’s Street for excellent people-watching. photo credit: Rianne Shlebak" - Rianne Shlebak
