"While this can be a grab-and-go neighborhood coffee spot, you’ll want to build in time to stare at the artwork on the walls. Walking into Joe’s you can’t help but notice the large Creation of Adam painting on the ceiling. Look harder and you’ll see God's outstretched hand holds a coffee cup. That image alone just about sums up the vibe at Joe’s. Lovingly mismatched couches and chairs populate the room, and casual EAVers who look like they work at some goat lullaby startup stare at their computer screens as they sip cafe usuals like cappuccinos and iced coffees. Joe's also offers a few empanadas and other pastries, but these are really just to tide you over until you can snag a real meal." - Juli Horsford
