It just wants to serve well-prepared sushi, tempura, teriyaki, and other Japanese staples to its dedicated local clientele—and it succeeds. Daichi offers all of its items a la carte, but if you drop by at lunchtime, you can take advantage of their “lunch box,” which lets you choose two items from a list of 15 (including shrimp and vegetable tempura, yellowtail sashimi, pork katsu, “chef’s choice” sushi, and more).
