Herbs grow in hanging baskets under whitewashed arches, and we can only presume they’re plucked and plated on the pretty dishes coming from the open-plan kitchen. Unsurprisingly, menus (around €35 per person) are driven by whatever is in season: plump tomatoes and fresh figs in the summer, earthy mushrooms in the fall.
