"With three hyped chefs behind it, Sororoca Bar is the star of São Paulo’s burgeoning Amazonian food scene. It’s steps away from the thumping Vila Madalena nightlife, but the front almost feels like a laid-back beach bar. Menu highlights are the grilled fish mains, including a huge slab of sororoca, or Spanish mackerel, meaty and blackened on the grill and served alongside corn cuscuz and pirão, a fish and cassava purée.
