Sweet Hand Kathy's - Review - Miami Gardens - Miami - The Infatuation
"Unlike the other Trinidadian restaurants in Miami, Sweet Hand Kathy’s is not a reliable stop for roti. They don’t always have it available. Instead, what you’ll find here is a steam counter full of slowly stewed meats that are waiting for the gentlest little nudge to fall off the bone. The daily menu changes often, but if the stewed chicken is available, get it. For a side, go for a slab of Kathy’s macaroni pie, which is cut into squares like a sheet cake. The doubles are also outstanding, with fluffy bara and channa with a perfect hint of sweetness.
