"Valter’s Osteria is one of Salt Lake City’s most well-known upscale restaurants, and although its owner, Valter Nassi, passed away in 2022, it’s still serving up the city’s best Italian. Pasta is the star of Valter’s Italian menu, and the best way to try it all is the sampler—it includes taster portions of the ravioli in a four-cheese cream sauce and their pillowy mushroom gnocchi.
