La Viña Aragon Restaurant y Cafeteria

"We once sat next to an empty table with covered dishes and the words “ocupado” scribbled on a paper napkin here. It was probably the table of some mystery VIP who no doubt eats the same thing there every day. Maybe that will be you someday—we think it serves Miami’s best Cuban food so it shouldn’t be hard to keep coming back. This Cuban restaurant has been around since the '80s and few restaurants (or their prices) are as genuinely, delightfully stuck in time as La Viña Aragon. Regulars here always have cash on hand for crispy vaca frita and crunchy pollo empanizado, because this Hialeah spot also still lives in a world where credit cards don’t exist. Kush by Stephens is the exciting combination of Florida's oldest deli and Hialeah's first cocktail bar. They offer classic deli-style sandwiches, such as hand-cut pastrami and corned beef, in an old-school meets new-school setting for dine-in, breakfast, and lunch, as well as catering for all events. The menu highlights deli-classics like Bubbie's Matzoh Ball Soup, Kush Hospitality's Chicken n' Waffles, NY Style Deli Sandwiches, Bagel & Lox Platter, Reuben Sandwiches, and Egg Salad Sandwiches. Stephen's original signage remains, and Henderson "Junior" Biggers, who's been slicing meat for over 60 years, continues to carve the smoked meats. Hungry? Let us satisfy your appetite.
