"Restaurants serving seasonal, shareable plates are as common in SF as recreational boulderers. This Cow Hollow spot is a perfectly pleasant one. Camino Alto draws influence from Mexican and Asian cuisines, seen in the pork shoulder served alongside tortillas and saucy beans, and the adorably dubbed “yuzu party,” a salad made with daikon, avocado, and crisp hunks of Asian pear. Though nothing on the menu is necessarily transformative, the dishes are still well-executed, and ideal to split with a date in the minimalist dining room or surprisingly spacious back patio.
