"Jake’s Ice Cream is an ATL classic that first opened its doors in Old Fourth Ward back in 1999. Now situated in a corner of a small plaza near downtown Hapeville, the small, cutesy shop draws folks in search of their signature creamy, sweet ice cream. On warmer days, expect a small crowd gathered outside the tiny space, though the wait is never too long. It's a great place for cones and cups in standard flavors that don’t venture too far into the wild but strike the perfect balance of sweetness and flavor.
