"TMJ sufferers beware, Coney’s wagyu champ burger is a jawbreaker. It features a bulbous patty surrounded by a cured egg sauce, tomato paste, yuzu aioli, and a pickled tomato. A housemade brioche bun holds everything together (and adds even more to the circumference). It tastes like something a chef in a tall hat would ironically put on fine dining menu for $40. But this one’s a lot less pretentious and under $20. You can order one at their ventanita or sit inside at the counter. They have a couple of other burgers and a vegan version, too.
