"Banh is a tiny bánh mì and boba operation inside the Coconut Grove Books & Books. And while it’s hard to call this a restaurant—everything is prepped in a commercial kitchen and then assembled in a perimeter the size of a horse stall—we do really like the sandwiches. The lemongrass flavor comes through in the lemongrass chicken bánh mì, which has a nudge of heat from chilis. There’s a vegan option with a very sweet char siu braised soy, if you want to avoid spice (and meat) altogether. They also have boba, in case you need a beverage. There’s nowhere to sit and eat inside, but it’s not hard to find a shaded spot to eat across the street at Peacock Park." - Mariana Trabanino
