MTH Pizza - Review - Smyrna - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"MTH Pizza, from the team behind Roshambo, is a casual Smyrna spot that works best for low-stakes hangs—weekly trivia, post-kid-soccer dinners, or group catch-ups over a pie. The pizzas here are better than your average neighborhood pizzeria. The crust has a nice mix of crunch and chew, and they flex a few reimagined twists on classics, like the pecorino-loaded Marry Me Chicken pizza with tangy sun-dried tomatoes and white sauce. Wings are also worth adding, especially the plump lemon pepper. The patio’s roomy, the service is friendly, and splitting a pizza with a glass of wine or a local beer is the move here. photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman photo credit: Sarah Newman Pause Unmute Food Rundown Camp North Star The giant, housemade meatballs are fine, but the tangy marinara with a hint of pep brings them to life. They sit on a bed of creamy, cheesy polenta that just might be the euphoric equivalent of a weighted blanket on a chilly evening. photo credit: Sarah Newman Super Duper Garlic Cheesy Bread Just as the name suggests, this is a gooey, over-the-top appetizer with a soft middle and crunchy French bread-like crust. It comes with a garlicky marinara that makes it even better. Lemon Pepper Wings Plump, juicy baked wings with a good lemon-to-pepper ratio. Nothing mind-blowing, but definitely a dependable add-on. But if you’re not, the burn might drown out the buffalo sauce mix. The crust lands somewhere between Neapolitan and New York–style: crisp on the bottom, with a bit of chew, and sturdy enough to hold up without flopping. photo credit: Sarah Newman Marry Me Chicken The white sauce pie comes loaded with tangy sun-dried tomatoes and a generous dusting of pecorino. Ask to add bacon bits for an extra hit of salty crunch. PlayMute video credit: Jacinta Howard" - Jacinta Howard
