"No one comes to Amsterdam for the balmy weather and beaches, so if you find yourself in the city on the rare warm day, you’ll want to hop on the free ferry to the NDSM wharf across the Ij and claim any number of spots at the multi-purpose Pllek. The food is mostly plant-based and does the job in between morning yoga and late-night clubbing: falafel with eggplant cream and pomegranate, portobello mushroom burgers with kimchi mayo, and salad with fried cod.
