"There’s fancy ice, and then there’s Podmore’s ice. One of the pricier cocktails that’s a take on a Pimm’s Cup looks like a glass filled with bouncy house balls, while the Club Tropicana has ice pretending to be a Rubik’s cube. The flair is fun, but we actually prefer the less flamboyant cocktails—and all of which can be made non-alcoholic. Podmore is one of Honolulu’s loveliest bars, styled like an elegant London lounge, with emerald green booths and brass accents, with a food menu of fish and chips, bangers and mash, and pot pie to match. It’s also a great place to day drink, as the light filters in through the tall windows, and a seat at one of the banquettes is a prime spot for terrific brunch dishes. photo credit: Laura La Monaca photo credit: Laura La Monaca photo credit: Laura La Monaca photo credit: Laura La Monaca Pause Unmute" - Martha Cheng
