"When you first walk into Fortunate Son, your eyes might be overwhelmed. But all the decor details come together in a managed chaos that makes the space feel warm and soothing. There’s a metal dragon door handle at the entrance, green velvet banquette seating, hanging red lanterns, mismatched flatware on floating shelves, and a fireplace that just so happens to be in the mouth of a huge stone beast in the middle of the space. A few orders of crab rangoon with sweet chili sauce and a couple plates of lo mein and General Tso’s chicken are enough to halt any game of I Spy your table is playing though.
