"Los Félix’s ambitious, creative menu is unlike any other Mexican restaurant in town. If you’re not enthusiastic about experimentation (even when it goes a little wrong), this isn’t the place for you. The menu changes so much that it’s hard to make recommendations. Thankfully, their two biggest strengths—the tamales and pork cheek carnitas—have persisted. The excellent tamal might change in filling, but it’ll likely come doused in a rich mole. Pretty much everything here comes with some variation of masa, which can make for a heavy meal. So order strategically, or just come for weekend brunch.
