Makimono - Review - Inman Park - Atlanta - The Infatuation

"Makimono is sort of like the food equivalent of that popular '90s boy band album—there's a bit of everything on the menu to please everyone, but it all feels a little disappointingly formulaic. The fast-casual, Asian fusion restaurant, which once operated as Craft Izakaya before changing over in 2017, is located in Krog's Street Market. The menu features decent westernized Korean, Chinese, and Japanese dishes like gyoza, sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, bulgogi, and savory kimchi pancakes, but the best thing to get here are the crispy Korean fried chicken wings. Most of the other items, like the salmon teriyaki box and shrimp yakisoba, are skippable, like the tracks from your dust-covered boy band album." - Jacinta Howard
