"You don’t have to stand up if you don’t want to. But you’ll have a better time if you do. The low wooden bar by the entrance of this Jupiter dive bar has no chairs. So locals hunch over beers, an equal mix of cowboy boots and flip flops propped on the worn foot rail. Ralph’s is the oldest bar in Jupiter, and (allegedly) owner of the second liquor license ever issued in Florida. Every inch of the wall and ceiling is covered in scribblings and dollar bills. There’s no menu. You point at a beer or liquor bottle on a sagging wooden shelf and pay for it with cash only. There’s a separate bar area with chairs, tables, and a patio out back.
