"This formerly mobile operation has popped up at Add-A-Ball, Chuck’s Hop Shop, and Oddfellow’s Cafe in the past, and now they're permanently stationed at Jupiter Bar in Belltown. Lucky for the neighborhood—they've inherited one of Seattle's best pizza spots. Their paper plate-sized pies covered in char bubbles are both crisp and foldable simultaneously—a true achievement in pizza-making. And while we could fill a high school yearbook entry with sentimental things to say about pies topped with crisp pepperoni cups and honey or classic margheritas, there's power in Good Shape's plain cheese pie. Between the tomato sauce's simplicity, the fusing of mozzarella, pecorino, and provolone, and hints of chili flake and dried oregano, no takeout slice can beat it. But quite possibly the best part about Good Shape is that their portable operation works endlessly well for private events. We've encountered them at casual backyard parties, weddings, and everything in between—if only you could hire them to be live-in pizzaiolos. Food Rundown Pepperoni Rolls These golf ball-sized pinwheels of pizza dough served with herby ranch are the only logical snacks to demolish before a round of pies and Pac-Man. Charred crust unlocks a steamy display of zesty pepperoni and just enough melted mozzarella to spackle it all together. photo credit: Nate Watters Cheese Pie Good Shape's finest contribution to the world—the thing can do no wrong. photo credit: Nate Watters Sweet-N-Spicy Pie If you can't exit a pizza establishment without having consumed a cured pork product, you're in fantastic hands with this pie, piled with crispy-curled pepperoni, tear-inducing spicy pickled peppers, and a drizzle of honey to cool it all down. Just finish up before taking to the arcade—unless you think extra finger grease might improve your Street Fighter skills. photo credit: Nate Watters" - Aimee Rizzo
