"Newport Creamery feels like an old-school soda shop that married your favorite diner. Black and white pictures of the original 1920s creamery line the walls above families talking over placemat drawings, while locals sit between couples at the counter slurping Awful Awfuls, the Creamery’s signature milkshake-like “drink.“ Definitely pair the famous waffled grilled cheeses, Big Beef Burgers, or club sandwiches with their crispy tots. The ice cream window is also open all day and until 11pm on the weekends, making it a good stop after a movie or long day at the beach." - Danielle Rose
