"Prenzlauer Berg’s Kollwitzkiez area is full of great restaurants, but nowhere does modern comfort food quite like Sathutu. This Sri Lankan restaurant dishes out traditional plates of black dhal and Colombo fried chicken alongside Berlin-style twists like jackfruit cutlets and cod ceviche with red jalapeño. These are the classics, but don’t ignore the fish dish, swimming in a milk curry sauce and balanced on a pile of tomato chutney. For those as indecisive as they are hungry, visit Sathutu on a Thursday for their feast menu, where the meat lover’s, vegetarian, or plant-based plate means you can try a bit of everything for €28.
