"At first glance, Between Us looks like a nice, casual restaurant for a reliable Saturday breakfast. There are always groups of tables gushing over flat whites (and, depending on the time of day, glasses of sparkling wine), and the breakfast menu is failsafe: avocado on Danish rye, porridge three ways, and polenta pancakes. But it’s the lunch and dinner menus that make this place shine. The seemingly simple tuna nicoise is served with crispy capers that explode in your mouth, the burrata comes with a rich caponata, and the slow-cooked lamb with cannellini and braised courgettes will make you want to lick the bowl." - Mary Holland
