"You might notice a surprising absence of local wines on Fredericksburg's menus. But Hill & Vine puts respect on Texan cuisine and wine while modernizing German dishes popular in the region. The restaurant's renovated bungalow-style facade, handcrafted artwork, and curated furniture are an interior designer’s playground, with homages to the Wild West and Texas’ heritage. Stop by for an order of their bloody mary deviled eggs during brunch, or make it a lunch date with a classic chicken salad sandwich. While you wait, grab a drink from Das Bar Bus (a converted Volkswagen), or go next door for coffee at Sunday Supply.
