Knödelwirtschaft offers six different types of boiled dumplings—sometimes porcini, pumpkin, truffle, or sage, and always cheese, liver, or bacon, depending on whether you’re in the Neukölln (Süd) or Prenzlauer Berg (Nord) restaurant. And while the mushroom sauce might appear optional, it’s as obligatory as taxes. Always order an additional dumpling—we recommend checking out the specials board for the dumpling of the day.
