"Think of this as Jamaican fast food. The dining room walls are painted bright red and yellow, there’s a queue railing, and even a drive-thru out back. Oxtail, escovitch, and jerk pork are piled into your styrofoam box as fast as you can point to them on the steam counter. But the speed does not compromise the quality. The steam keeps all the meat moist and the plantains sticky. They fill those boxes with so much food, you’ll want to ask, “Are you sure?” They’re not messing around. And neither is the curry goat. It’s tender, and the heat creeps up on you like a stealthy kitten.
