"The Palm is an old school American steakhouse, a genre of restaurant Miami severely lacks. This place is a national chain and has locations scattered around the country. But the Miami restaurant (located in Bay Harbor Islands) feels local, partially because of the caricatures of regulars that decorate the wall. The space is dim, they have a bar perfect for eating alone or with a date, and there are dressed-up servers darting around the dining room. The food is solid and mostly steakhouse classics.
