"We’re not sure what makes a “social restaurant” different from a regular restaurant, but we do know this fancy restaurant in Rancho Palos Verdes has enough pendant lights and velvet booths to look like a private members’ club. The brunch menu includes lots of familiar staples (chilaquiles, avocado toast, a breakfast burrito), but the fusion-heavy dinner menu is more unique, with dishes like picanha pâte feuiletée, shrimp miso pasta, and sichuan chicken sliders. We haven’t been here yet, but want you to know this spot exists." - Cathy Park
