"Urban Harvest is the quintessential Houston market. Nearly every local farm and small pantry staple maker has a stand. It’s also an incubator for Houston chefs. Some of this city’s best restaurants like Ema and Tatemó, debuted here. If you want to catch any of the action, like a Burmese small plates pop up, arriving by 8am is a must, and not just because the parking garage gets busy. Booths with any buzz sell out almost immediately. So earlier is still better, even if you’re only here for farm-fresh produce and not try the latest must-have dish.
