"I experienced a castle stay in downtown Edmonton at the Fairmont Hotel MacDonald after its 2024 renovation, which polished historic accents while updating guestrooms and spacious suites. When I wasn't luxuriating in the indoor saltwater pool or playing on the full-size squash court, I enjoyed the famous Sunday brunch and a multitiered tray of snacks during an elegant afternoon tea.
