"Housed in the luxurious EXCELSIOR by Geisel hotel in the centre of Munich, not far from Stachus, Vinothek is a relaxed establishment done out in a cosy rustic style. The high cross-vaulted ceiling certainly has the wow factor, as does the array of decorative wine bottles. As you might expect from the name of this restaurant, delicious dishes that are inspired by the region and the Mediterranean, eg golden trout from the Birnbaum fish farm, parsley risotto, beurre blanc, are accompanied by a terrific selection of wines with a focus on Germany, France and Austria.
