"This restaurant is named after the founding year of Das Schiff, the tasteful hotel that houses it. Done out entirely in wood and furnished with delightful decorative details such as pictures and lamps, and with classically laid tables, the small Stuben are the epitome of cosiness. Chef Bernd Reimers's set menu shows a wide range of culinary variety. He draws on the region with dishes such as guinea fowl with cabbage and hay; he looks to Spain with the pulpo with rof emulsion and sobrasada; and he takes inspiration from Asia for the Tyrolean Alpine prawns with bao bun and kimchi.
