"This rooftop restaurant at the InterContinental hotel boasts stunning 180° views of the historic centre and castle through its floor-to-ceiling windows, especially at night when the illuminated castle is surrounded by the lights of the city. Inside the restaurant, the contemporary design and open-view kitchen provide the setting for a choice of dishes which is as extensive as the views. As a result, the restaurant has built a well-deserved reputation for its international cuisine, alongside Slovenian specialities. We particularly enjoyed the fresh red prawn ceviche served with a mango sorbet that enhanced the freshness of the prawns, and an excellent tapioca quail with green asparagus and a delicate jus.
